Shipping & Delivery Policy

This policy explains how VRC Mobility handles the pickup, transit and delivery of freight booked through the platform, and what to expect on timelines and proof of delivery.

Last updated: 6 September 2026

1. What we deliver

VRC Mobility provides commercial road-freight transport — we move your cargo between the pickup and drop locations you specify. We do not sell physical products; “shipping” here refers to the freight-movement service you book.

2. Coverage

We arrange freight across India, with our strongest capacity in the North India / NCR belt and Uttar Pradesh corridors. Availability on a specific lane is confirmed when you book — tell us your route and we will confirm capacity, typically within 24 hours for a new lane.

3. Pickup and transit timelines

  • Pickup: scheduled at the time of booking based on vehicle availability on your lane.
  • Transit: depends on distance, route, vehicle type and road / regulatory conditions. As a general guide, intercity full-truckload moves cover roughly 400–500 km per day of transit; we share an indicative ETA at booking.
  • Timelines are estimates in good faith and can be affected by traffic, weather, checkpoints, strikes or other conditions outside our control.

4. Tracking

For booked trips we provide a shareable live GPS tracking link with location and ETA updates, which you can forward to your receiver. Tracking is available from pickup until delivery.

5. Proof of delivery (POD)

On delivery, the receiver confirms the consignment — typically via a delivery OTP and/or signature, with photos of the cargo where relevant. Digital proof of delivery is recorded against the booking.

6. Delays and exceptions

If a delay occurs, we will keep you informed and work to complete delivery as quickly as possible. In the event of a vehicle breakdown on a dedicated-fleet contract, our commitment is to mobilise a replacement vehicle of the same payload class within 60 minutes. We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure).

7. Cargo condition and claims

Please ensure goods are packed appropriately for road transport. Any loss or damage should be noted at delivery and reported to us promptly so we can investigate. Claims are handled per the agreed booking terms and applicable carriage law.

8. Charges

Freight charges are as per the confirmed quote for your booking, plus applicable GST. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for cancellations, and our Terms of Service for the full terms.
